Joe Egertson
Founder & Executive Chairman of the Board
Building on his decades of experience in key leadership roles at HUB Group and Unyson, Joe Egertson had a vision for a different kind of Managed Transportation Services provider, one designed to serve the needs of mid-market shippers with an unprecedented level of transparency and collaboration. From this vision, Sheer Logistics was born. Today, Joe’s vision continues to guide the Sheer Logistics team.
Joel Gard
CEO & Board Member
Prior to ACBL, Joel was instrumental in launching and leading Coyote Logistics’ European operations. Joel also served as President of Xpress Technologies, U.S. Xpress’ tech-enabled brokerage platform, and as Chief Technology Officer at U.S. Xpress. Joel graduated cum laude from Lake Forest College with a BA in Economics & Environmental Studies and earned his MBA from INSEAD.Joel brings extensive experience in providing Managed Transportation Services and driving digital transformation in the logistics and supply chain industry to Sheer Logistics. Prior to joining Sheer, Joel led the business transformation program at American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) where he was tasked with building an internal 4PL/Managed Logistics platform for one of the nation’s leading marine transportation companies. Jordan not only has a deep background in business analysis and logistics, but he also specializes in relationship management nationally and overseas. At Sheer, Jordan works to improve processes and train superior operations teams. The best part of his job? Partnering with clients and key decision makers to make sure their needs are met.
Mick Noce
Chief Supply Chain Officer
Mick leads the design and delivery of customized transportation management solutions. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of supply chain and logistics, designing and implementing operational performance improvements at leading corporations. He has held positions in supply chain consulting, production planning and transportation management.
Brian Winshall
Chief Revenue Officer, Board Member and Partner at Woodlawn Partners
Brian is integral to Sheer’s corporate strategy, M&A, and commercial solutions. He directly leads Sheer’s Sales Team, Marketing Team, and commercial business leaders through unified go-to-market and growth strategies. His commitment to delivering impactful 4PL/Managed Transportation Services and value-added logistics solutions is rooted in nearly three decades of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. Prior to joining Sheer, Brian served in leadership roles at CH Robinson, AFN Logistics, and GlobalTranz.

Rob Cook
Chief Technology Officer
Rob brings more than 25 years of logistics and supply chain management expertise to the Sheer Logistics team. Prior to joining Sheer, his leadership experience included serving in VP roles at MercuryGate and Arzoon TMS. Known for his customer-focused, value-driven approach, Rob applies solution design skills on both the business and technical sides of logistics to every opportunity that comes his way.
Jennifer Bien-Esrock
Vice President, Finance & Accounting
Jen is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She holds a Master of Business Administration from Washington University and has her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from University of Missouri-St. Louis. At Sheer, Jen is responsible for the company’s overall financial management, planning, and growth.
Dana Buck
Associate Vice President, Solutions
Before joining Sheer, Dana spent 12 years as Vice President of Consulting Services for SGI, LLC, where he led a team that provided support and services directly to freight carriers and customers looking to get the most out of their transportation needs. After a year serving as VP of Yield Management for Worldwide Express, Dana took that knowledge learned to Sheer, using his experience to help develop stronger customer and carrier relationships.
Brian McIntyre
Associate Vice President, Operations
Brian has studied in Aachen, Germany, and managed the logistics for a container plant in the Midwest. He brings this experience plus more than six years of focused operations and logistics expertise to his work with the Sheer carrier pool. His mission is to provide superior communications and savings without jeopardizing service.
Tyler Hoffmeister
Associate Vice President, Operations
As Associate VP of Operations, Tyler oversees the logistics arm of the Operations Team and focuses on providing optimal customer service and carrier relationships. Tyler has been with Sheer for six years, with previous experience working for FedEx and YRCW. Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Webster University in St. Louis.
Nate Schwandt
Director of Marketing
Nate leads new business development, marketing, and communications efforts at Sheer. While his primary focus is growth and new business opportunities, Nate leverages a strong background in customer service, technology, and project management to drive efficiency and performance across all departments.
Greg Vogt
Director, Transportation Services
Greg employs active, transparent communication to build and maintain carrier relationships that align perfectly with customer goals. Always aiming to exceed expectations, Greg thrives on the fast pace his role requires, and he’s motivated by the commitment he makes every day to Sheer customers, all of whom count on him to deliver critical product on time in every instance.
