Carrier Registration

Signing up is easy. Review our requirements, complete the form, and provide the required documents, and we’ll get you on the road.

To become a certified Sheer Carrier, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Active Common or Contract Authority.

  • Safety Rating must be Satisfactory.

  • Authority active for at least three months.

  • Authority has never been revoked.

  1. Provide your MC/MX# or DOT# to begin registration. Intrastate carriers without a DOT# may provide an applicable state registration number to begin registration.
  2. Supply your company contact information.
  3. Submit an electronic W9 (have your TaxID available).
  4. Complete the Carrier Profile.
  5. Read and ACCEPT the Agreement.
  6. Provide a Certificate of Insurance that meets the minimum requirements below. Certificates must be submitted from your insurance producer (agent).
  7. $100,000 Cargo Coverage
  8. $1,000,000 Auto Coverage
  9. If RMIS does not already have a copy of your certificate on file, we will request one for you from your insurance agent (producer).
